- The Staff Platform Engineer will provide guidance for the design and architecture of provisioning and maintaining Kubernetes clusters at scale.

- The engineer will work closely with clients and stakeholders to provide strategic input for building extensible digital solutions.
- The position requires extensive experience in containerizing applications using Docker and orchestrating them on managed platforms.
- The engineer will be responsible for maintaining the underlying services required to host containerized applications.
- The role may require up to 20% travel.
- The engineer will collaborate with the team to plan story points and sprint themes.
- Experience with at least one agile methodology, such as Scrum or Kanban, is necessary.

- The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of in-depth experience maintaining production-grade Kubernetes clusters.
- A strong background in building production services with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, is essential.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go is required.
- The candidate should have experience managing infrastructure and developing APIs/platform services for container services.
- Effective communication skills are necessary to interact with various stakeholders.
- The candidate should be comfortable mentoring junior developers and engineers.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related technical field is preferred.
- The ability to obtain a Security+ certification within the first 90 days of employment is required.
