✨ About The Role
- The AVP of Business Development at ZephyrAI will oversee the Business Development Team and the formation of business partnerships, with a focus on introducing technology to partners in bio/pharma drug development and in vitro diagnostics
- Responsibilities include client engagement, business expansion, market analysis and strategy, revenue generation, and thought leadership in the precision medicine, artificial intelligence, and machine learning fields
- The role involves driving revenue growth by identifying and closing opportunities that leverage ZephyrAI’s drug response prediction technology and collaborating with internal cross-functional teams for successful project implementation and delivery
- The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the mission of democratizing data-driven precision medicine for the benefit of cancer and cardiometabolic diseases, pushing industry boundaries in clinical genomics and multimodal health analytics
- This position is remote, requires 40% travel, and demands the ability to work cross-functionally within the organization
âš¡ Requirements
- Experienced professional with a Ph.D., M.S., or equivalent in genomics, oncology, or related fields, ideally with 10+ years of relevant experience in business development or commercial sales
- Proven track record in negotiating large enterprise sales agreements and driving partnerships in the connected industry of Drug Development in oncology, Precision Medicine, Health data, Clinical Genomics, or Diagnostics
- Deep knowledge of pharma R&D in oncology or cardiometabolic disease and a strong passion for advancing precision medicine in the field
- Strong analytical, presentation, negotiation, and communication skills are essential for success in this role
- Strategic thinker and team player with the ability to identify opportunities and develop actionable plans involving multiple groups
