Red 6 is an innovative Augmented Reality (AR) technology startup leading the way in synthetic air combat training. Our primary technology, supporting our ATARS product, enables pilots to simulate the cognitive challenges of flying while accessing realistic, scalable training in dynamic outdoor environments.
As the Director of Production and Supply Chain, you will play a mission-critical role in shaping the scalability and reliability of Red 6's hardware solutions. You will be responsible for managing the Bill of Materials (BOM), optimizing supplier relationships, and leading end-to-end production operations for military-grade electronics and headset systems.
This role spans low- to high-volume production—from prototypes to 1,000+ unit shipsets—and demands a hands-on, startup-savvy leader who thrives in a high-growth, lean environment. You will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and be evaluated based on on-time delivery and return metrics.

Navigating both tactical (e.g., assembling furniture) and strategic (e.g., facility planning) challenges typical of startup life
Your leadership will be essential in ensuring that producibility and reliability are considered from early design through delivery, recognizing that manufacturability only matters if the product meets customer expectations.
