✨ About The Role
- The Senior Mechanical Designer / CAD PLM will report to the Principal Structures Engineer and will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading CAD PDM/PLM systems.
- The role involves using Siemens NX and Teamcenter PLM software to create models and manage data, as well as designing and analyzing product components.
- The candidate will participate in the creation of Part Families and support Mechanical and Electrical Routing applications.
- Mentoring and training engineers will be a key responsibility, ensuring adherence to engineering design and drafting standards.
- The position requires coordination with external vendors to support and enhance CAD, PDM, and PLM systems, as well as improving engineering data organization and management processes.

- The ideal candidate will have an associate's degree and at least 5 years of relevant technical or administrative experience, preferably in the aerospace industry.
- Strong experience in implementing, maintaining, customizing, and upgrading Siemens NX is essential for success in this role.
- The candidate should possess excellent written communication and technical writing skills to effectively document engineering processes and standards.
- A passion for technology and the ability to thrive in fast-changing environments will be crucial for adapting to the dynamic nature of the job.
- Experience in hardware new product development and/or manufacturing engineering organizations is highly desirable.
