About the Team

The Production Team at Relativity is responsible for turning engineering designs into flight- and test-ready hardware. We manage the day-to-day execution of manufacturing operations—machining, assembly, integration, and test—while driving safety, quality, and schedule adherence. The team partners closely with engineering, quality, supply chain, and planning to solve problems quickly, eliminate bottlenecks, and continuously improve our processes. In a fast-paced, high-accountability environment, we take pride in building world-class launch vehicles that enables the company to hit ambitious program milestones and deliver on mission success.

About the Role

As a Production Supervisor, you will provide technical leadership and day-to-day oversight of manufacturing operations. You will be accountable for safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of hardware, while building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Lead a team of technicians/operators to deliver on schedule, quality, and cost targets across assigned product lines.
  • Provide hands-on technical direction for assembly, machining, integration, or test activities; serve as the first point of escalation for production challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with work instructions, travelers, and quality standards while driving process discipline on the shop floor.
  • Partner with manufacturing engineering, planning, supply chain, and quality teams to resolve bottlenecks and drive throughput.
  • Maintain daily production visibility through metrics and passdowns; escalate risks and resource gaps to leadership.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with company values and objectives.

About You

  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace, automotive, or other high-reliability manufacturing environments.
  • 2+ years of leadership, lead, or supervisory experience overseeing production technicians/operators.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes such as assembly, machining, integration, or testing.
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specs, and GD&T.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to drive accountability in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves But Not Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Previous leadership experience in aerospace or space hardware production.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, MES, or digital factory tools.
  • Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement training/certifications.

Hiring Range: $127,000 - $162,800 USD
