✨ About The Role
- The role involves owning or co-owning a major primary structure assembly and its child subassemblies from design release through ATP Test.
- Collaboration with a diverse team of engineers specializing in design, manufacturing, and reliability is a key responsibility.
- The position requires creating work instructions, specifications, and best practices across multiple high-fidelity processes.
- Establishing stations within the inaugural work cell by considering assembly operations, tooling, and capital equipment requirements is part of the job.
- Providing Design for Manufacturing feedback to structures teams during the development phase and through the first prototype and flight builds is expected.
âš¡ Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in aeronautical, mechanical engineering, or a related engineering discipline is required.
- Candidates should have 4+ years of progressive and related experience in the field.
- Proficiency in 3D & 2D design/drafting skills per ASME Y14.5M is essential, with NX being preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively interface with engineering and manufacturing groups.
- A working knowledge of primary vehicle structures, machining, assembly processes, and tooling is important for success in this role.
