✨ About The Role
- Responsible for working alongside the vehicle design team to develop primary structures for the Terran R rocket and leading mechanical assembly
- Build best in class manufacturing, test, and quality control processes to ensure high-quality, well-understood products are produced
- Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers specializing in design, manufacturing, and reliability to drive progress
- Generate mBOMs, CONOPS, build schedules, and maintain them throughout the development process
- Provide Design for Manufacturing feedback to structures teams during development and prototype builds
âš¡ Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in aerospace, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering with a minimum of 5 years of related experience in an aerospace or automotive manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated experience in building large scope first article assemblies, resolving complex manufacturing issues, and meeting production demand
- Strong mindset towards simple design solutions, quality, root cause analysis, and implementation of reliable and productive processes
- Ability to balance and prioritize daily tasks contributing to short and long-term company goals
- Tinkerer and self-starter who can work cross-functionally and influence both Engineering and Production teams
