- The Weld Technician II will collaborate with technician and engineering teams to develop and perform GTAW weld processes.
- Responsibilities include manual and semi-automated welding, as well as aiding in weld parameter and schedule development.
- The role involves setting up the production shop floor following 5S principles and completing GTAW weld operations on both development and flight hardware.
- The technician will be responsible for loading and unloading hardware using overhead cranes or forklifts and performing dimensional fitment inspections.
- Visual weld inspections and precision blending using hand tools to prepare metallic surfaces for welding and non-destructive evaluation are also key tasks.

- The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in aerospace welding or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience specifically with GTAW welding, preferably with materials such as Aluminum, Stainless, or Inconel, is essential.
- Candidates should be familiar with common inspection tools and torque wrenches, demonstrating technical proficiency.
- The ability to adapt to fast-paced environments is crucial for success in this role.
- Candidates must be comfortable working in confined spaces and at elevated heights, with training provided for safety.
