- The Director of Sales and Business Development will be responsible for driving profitable revenue across various technology platforms. - This role involves planning and implementing sales strategies for assigned territories within the Commercial Services Organization. - The candidate will be expected to cultivate relationships and identify new business opportunities within small to large pharma and biotech companies. - Lead generation and conversion will be a key responsibility, requiring a full sales process from prospect identification to closing deals. - The position requires collaboration with internal teams, including Commercial Development and Marketing, to ensure alignment with business needs.

- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sales and business development within the biomanufacturing or pharmaceutical sectors. - A proven track record of generating new business and maintaining strategic customer relationships is essential. - The candidate should possess strong technical knowledge in areas such as Biologics, Vaccines, and Cell and Gene Therapy. - Excellent leadership skills and the ability to mentor less experienced colleagues are crucial for success in this role. - The candidate must be comfortable with a high level of travel, up to 50%, to meet clients and attend industry events.
