Full Stack Cloud Engineer
We're looking for a versatile Full Stack Engineer to help build and scale the products that power Reveal's mission. In this role, you'll design, develop, and deploy secure, high-performance software that supports users operating in some of the world's most challenging environments. You'll work across the stack, from cloud infrastructure and APIs to modern web interfaces, collaborating closely with engineers, designers, and mission operators. Responsibilities
- Design and maintain secure, scalable cloud environments using Azure, GCP, or AWS
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, reliable deployment
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using tools like Terraform or Bicep
- Ensure system reliability, observability, and compliance through monitoring and alerting
- Build robust, secure APIs and microservices in languages like C#, Python, and Node.js
- Integrate with third-party systems and mission data sources (REST, gRPC, message queues)
- Optimize performance and reliability for real-time or high-throughput systems
- Manage and maintain relational and non-relational databases
- Build responsive, user-friendly web applications using modern frameworks (Blazor, React, Vue, etc.)
- Collaborate with designers and users to build intuitive UIs for complex workflows
- Work closely with product managers, mission operators, and fellow engineers
- Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and agile planning sessions
- Contribute to technical decision-making, prototyping, and long-term system design
Requirements
- 5-7+ years of fullstack software development experience
- Strong experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure, GCP, or AWS)
- Proficiency in C#, Python, Node.js, Blazor, React, PostgreSQL, and ASP.NET
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and basic cybersecurity principles
- U.S. Citizen and eligible for a DoD security clearance
Nice to Haves
- Azure certification(s)
- Prior experience in the defense or national security sector
- Experience with real-time systems, geospatial data, or sensor integration
- Exposure to compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, etc.)
- Experience working at an early-stage startup or on small agile teams
Compensation
- Salary ($140,000 - $170,000) + Equity
- Salary is determined by the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
