✨ About The Role
- The Staff Product Design role at Rise8 involves being a "full-stack" design lead impacting multiple teams, working with customer design leaders to transform design organizations
- Responsibilities include contributing to greater design consistency across products, scaling research operations, evaluating user experience, and defining project intake and portfolio strategy
- The role may involve a mixture of design product leadership and design people leadership, coaching and mentoring other designers, creating onboarding programs, and cultivating a learning environment
- Designers will spend most of their time embedded in a cross-functional team for a single product or service, coming together as a broader Rise8 design community to share and evolve practices
- The annual salary range for this role is $156,696.12 to $235,044.18, with benefits including flexible schedule, premium insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, education & training budget, wellness budget, and equipment provision
âš¡ Requirements
- Experienced product designer with over 10 years in product design, UX, or related field, including managing a team and working with clients in a consulting role
- Skilled in coaching and mentoring others in lean, agile, and user-centric design practices, with a deep understanding of User Research and Service Design
- Active leader in a design community, with a growth mindset to develop in less familiar domains and a toolbox of various talks and workshops to improve design practices
- Comfortable leading product design from research through implementation, designing different applications for various use cases, and using modern design systems and frameworks
- Holds a security clearance, enjoys collaborative teams, and is a creative problem solver who thrives on enhancing practices and knowledge
