✨ About The Role
- Responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of composite manufacturing technologies and processes for the Neutron Launch Vehicle structure
- Design, develop, and implement tooling and equipment for production environment to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost requirements
- Contribute to facility construction projects, design reviews, and implementation support
- Lead introduction and implementation of new products and product revisions related to the Neutron launch vehicle composite structure
- Mentor less experienced engineers and technicians daily
⚡ Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, or manufacturing engineering, or other technical degree with 2+ years of composite manufacturing experience
- Experience in the selection, procurement, and installation of composite manufacturing equipment
- Proficiency in capacity modeling, process mapping, Lean/Six Sigma, and value stream mapping would be beneficial
- Skilled in 3D CAD software, tooling design, Automated Fibre Placement technology, and Non-Destructive Testing/Inspection of composite components
- Ability to lead problem containment, root cause analysis, and corrective action investigations
