✨ About The Role
- Develop operational details for Marine Transport of Neutron flight hardware transport operations at remote sites and NASA Launch Sites
- Collaborate with various teams and third parties including Recovery Engineering, Ground Systems, GNC, Software, Avionics, RF/Comms, Mechanical Systems, Propulsion, Vessel Operators, Barge Vendors, and Tugs
- Build and maintain relationships with key vendors and contractors for Neutron Marine Logistics system lifecycle
- Develop growth strategies for increasing production & shipping rates of Neutron Hardware
- Support Recovery hardware fabrication and testing remotely and onsite at Wallops Island and other facilities
⚡ Requirements
- Experienced professional with at least 3-4 years in operational logistics roles supporting complex mechanical, marine, or aerospace hardware
- Skilled in successfully guiding a team through challenging operational programs with tight timelines and budgets
- Previous experience in maritime or aerospace fields, ideally with multi-disciplinary systems knowledge
- Self-motivated individual with a keen attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-stress, and remote environments, making resource allocation recommendations involving risk and uncertainty
