✨ About The Role

- The Welder/Fabricator role is crucial for building, testing, and implementing LC-3 for the Neutron Launch vehicle - Responsibilities include fabrication and fitout of fluid system piping, maintenance of ground system fluid and mechanical systems, and support for Neutron test and launch operations - Tasks involve preparation and fabrication of spools, on-site welding, fabrication of support fixtures, and precision cleaning of components - The role also includes troubleshooting mechanical issues, maintaining a tidy workspace, and safe rigging and lifting of pipe spools as required - Collaboration with Engineering, Technician, and Logistics teams is essential for planning, fabricating, testing, and installing various ground service fluid systems

⚡ Requirements

- Experienced welder/fabricator with at least 5 years of relevant experience in welding - High school diploma or GED required - Proficient in reading engineering drawings and GTAW stainless steel pipe and tube welding - Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform precision cleaning of critical components - Comfortable with standing for long periods, climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces
