- Analyze mechanical problems and develop innovative solutions using various fabrication and material methods
- Oversee product development from design to implementation, monitoring progress and reporting to management
- Evaluate mechanical designs for potential flaws and offer modifications to eliminate problems
- Prepare detailed drawings, conduct stress-analysis studies, and develop reliability testing procedures
- Design testing methods to analyze product capabilities and troubleshoot any mechanical or structural flaws
âš¡ Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with relevant professional experience
- Proficiency in analytic tools such as ANSYS, MathCad, and Solidworks
- Experience with product development and the entire product life cycle
- Strong ability with computer-aided design systems, including CAM and CAE
- Aerospace or maritime engineering experience is a plus
