✨ About The Role
- The Mission Operations Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the successful deployment and operation of autonomous surface vessels (ASVs) for Department of Defense (DoD) missions
- Collaborating with DoD stakeholders to understand mission objectives, requirements, and constraints is a key aspect of the role
- Overseeing ASV operations during missions, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing contingency plans are critical responsibilities
- Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data acquired during ASV missions to derive actionable insights is a key part of the job
- Conducting training sessions for DoD personnel on ASV operation, mission planning, and maintenance procedures is an important aspect of the role

- Experience in maritime operations, particularly with autonomous or unmanned systems, is highly valued
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for making quick decisions under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration across cross-functional teams
- Prior experience working with the Department of Defense (DoD) or other government agencies is a plus
- A background in business, engineering, maritime studies, or a related field is preferred
