- Lead thermal analysis and simulation efforts to optimize thermal management systems for autonomous surface vessels (ASVs) in various operating conditions and environments
- Provide technical expertise in structural and thermal analysis, guiding the development of innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges
- Utilize advanced FEA and CFD tools to predict and assess thermal behavior and performance of ASV components and systems
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to integrate thermal considerations into the overall design process, from concept development to final implementation
- Conduct detailed analysis of heat transfer, fluid flow, and thermal stresses to identify design improvements and optimize system efficiency

- Experienced mechanical engineer with a background in thermal analysis and simulation, particularly in complex engineering systems and components
- Proficient in using finite element analysis (FEA) software such as ANSYS, Abaqus, or Nastran, as well as computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tools
- Strong understanding of thermal management principles, heat transfer mechanisms, and fluid dynamics, with a focus on optimizing system efficiency
- Skilled in leading and mentoring junior engineers, providing technical guidance and expertise in thermal analysis methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and innovative thinking to address challenging engineering issues
