✨ About The Role
- The Defense Deployment Strategist will be responsible for high-fidelity requirement and relationship mapping within U.S. Navy PEOs and commands to identify business opportunities for Scale's offerings.
- This role involves pursuing identified opportunities and providing valuable input and feedback to the federal go-to-market strategy.
- The strategist will be involved in writing RFPs and directly pitching to key stakeholders about Scale's capabilities.
- Collaboration with technical teams and other key stakeholders at the executive level will be necessary to discuss emerging trends in AI/ML.
- The role includes partnering with Scale Solution Engineers to deliver customer pilots according to agreed-upon requirements.

- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-10+ years of experience in a DoD-focused technical sales or consulting role, preferably with the Navy.
- A proven track record of closing high-value, multi-year deals exceeding $10M is essential for success in this role.
- Established relationships or connections within strategic Navy accounts will be crucial for identifying and pursuing business opportunities.
- The candidate should possess experience in AI/ML or with highly technical products and teams, demonstrating a strong understanding of these technologies.
- A strong desire to actively contribute to building a business in a fast-paced environment is necessary, along with the ability to travel 20-30% of the time.
