Senior Product Manager

At Senra Systems, we believe that the future of manufacturing lies not in automation, but in configuration.

We supercharge electrical wire harness manufacturing through software configuration, transforming skilled assembly tasks into high-throughput production lines. We enable customers to design what they want, when they want it and deliver harness builds at record-breaking speed.

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of mission-critical factory software that powers complex, real-world manufacturing processes.

In this role, you will work directly with operators, technicians, engineers, and leadership to understand how physical processes function, and design software systems that improve reliability, throughput, and visibility. You'll operate in a lean environment where ownership, systems thinking, and execution depth are essential.

This is a hands-on product role with direct impact on how our factory operates and scales.

What you'll own:

  • End-to-end ownership of internal factory software initiatives from discovery through delivery, training, and iteration
  • Translating ambiguous operational challenges into clearly defined, structured, and build-ready software requirements
  • Leading requirements gathering and cross-functional working sessions with manufacturing, production and engineering stakeholders
  • Converting physical workflows into scalable digital systems
  • Defining detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Driving forward momentum across initiatives to ensure software engineering always has clear, actionable work
  • Anticipating system interactions, data dependencies, and edge cases before development begins
  • Balancing business urgency with technical constraints and long-term system integrity
  • Establishing measurable success criteria based on factory goals and evaluating product performance post-launch

What you'll bring to the team:

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics or operationally complex environments
  • Experience building software that supports physical processes (manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, industrial systems, ERP, or similar domains) Strong systems thinking with the ability to reason through multi-process environments and upstream/downstream dependencies
  • Proven ability to distill ambiguous problems into structured, complete, and actionable requirements
  • Demonstrated ownership and proactive drive in lean or fast-paced environments
  • Experience collaborating across varying technical levels, translating between factory operators, business stakeholders, and engineers
  • Comfort discussing technical tradeoffs, data flows, and architecture-level considerations with engineering teams
  • A structured and holistic approach to product discovery, scoping, and implementation

Preferred Background:

  • Experience in manufacturing or adjacent operational domains
  • Experience working on complex internal tools or operational software (MES, Factory Software, Inventory Systems, ERP)
  • Exposure to early-stage or 0–1 product development
  • Technical academic background such as Computer Science, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar

Compensation:

  • Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
  • Salary Range: $140,000-$175,000
  • This is an onsite role at our headquarters in Redondo Beach, CA or Cypress, CA.

Benefits:

  • Unmatched opportunities to drive impact on a friendly and mission-driven team
  • Own a piece of the pie with equity participation!
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life and long-term disability coverage
  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Dependent Spending Account (DSA) for health-related expenses
  • 20 vacation days per year and 12 company holidays for rest and relaxation
  • a 401(k) plan to set yourself up for retirement
  • Choose a record you love, and we'll add it to our growing vinyl collection!
  • $50/month DoorDash credit – lunch is on us!
  • Up to $100/month reimbursement for gym memberships
  • Fully stocked kitchen with snacks and beverages
  • Regular team-building events, lunches, and the occasional breakfast burrito!
  • Bright, open office with communal spaces for collaboration and free parking
  • Conveniently located near the metro, major freeways and local dining spots
