✨ About The Role
- Lead and build the Systems Engineering function within the Hivemind on X group, defining, coordinating, and communicating important information and artifacts pertaining to Systems Engineering outputs
- Collaborate closely with software teams, test engineers, and specialized project teams to define Systems Engineering processes and produce various systems architectures, requirements decomposition, and software solutions modeling
- Utilize tools like Cameo to document existing architecture and design future architecture, developing and maintaining models using Unified Modeling Language (UML), Systems Modeling Language (SysML), and/or Unified Profile for DoDAF/MODAF (UPDM)
- Engage with subject matter experts to improve tooling and connection to code for automated system models, emphasizing system decomposition, functions, interfaces, and behavior
- Collaborate with various departments such as product management, program management, mechanical engineering, embedded engineering, and business development to define implementations of the systems engineering processes
⚡ Requirements
- Experienced professional with over 12 years in systems engineering or a related field, preferably with a background in Aerospace, Software, or Electrical Engineering
- Strong organizational skills and methodical approach to work, ensuring execution against industry standard Systems Engineering processes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance, with US citizenship required
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams on projects, collaborating with various departments and reporting to senior leadership
