✨ About The Role
- Lead the design, development, implementation, and sustainment of Shield AI’s V-BAT production line
- Attend cross-functional design reviews and provide feedback on design for manufacture and assembly
- Work closely with product/program management, business teams, design engineers, and technical leadership to develop a world-class production operation and drive continuous improvements
- Develop and maintain project schedule and deliverables, establish standards and expectations for completion of manufacturing operations
- Train manufacturing personnel on new processes as a technical expert and process owner
⚡ Requirements
- Experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering, and at least 3 years of industry experience
- Skilled in manufacturing process development, project and team leadership, composite manufacturing methods, and automated test equipment
- Strong communicator with the ability to provide guidance and support on resolving supply chain manufacturing challenges
- Demonstrated creativity in developing robust manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment to increase quality and efficiency while reducing costs
- Proven track record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding oneself and others to high standards, and showing kindness to others
