- The internship program spans 10 weeks and offers hands-on mentorship and the opportunity to contribute to real projects within the company.
- Interns will be responsible for gathering requirements, designing, and validating multiple test stands for testing components and subsystems on the V-BAT UAV.
- The role involves designing tooling to hold devices-under-test during environmental testing and specifying facilities requirements for environmental test chambers.
- Interns will contribute to and attend cross-functional design reviews, advocating for design changes that simplify testing processes.
- The internship may lead to a possible job offer at the end of the program, providing a pathway to future employment.
⚡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related STEM field and is expected to graduate in December 2025 or Spring 2026.
- A strong understanding of fundamental engineering concepts, including electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, programming, physics, and mathematics is essential.
- Experience working on multidisciplinary hardware development projects, whether through internships, jobs, clubs, teams, or personal projects, is highly valued.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- The candidate should demonstrate a history of taking ownership of project outcomes and delivering exceptional results.
