Job Description:

The V-BAT Training Senior Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of V-BAT training and standardization while operating as an operations officer for flight activities. This role oversees the internal training team and manages training as a program to ensure alignment across operations, engineering, and product while delivering consistent, scalable, and measurable training outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience leading aviation training programs
• Background in military aviation, UAS operations, or equivalent
• Experience managing complex programs with multiple stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables
• Strong understanding of training systems, standardization, and evaluation processes
• Experience in operational planning, scheduling, or operations officer roles
• Ability to translate technical system changes into training requirements
• Strong organizational, communication, and execution skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Instructor Pilot (IP), Evaluator (EP), or equivalent designation
• Experience with Group 3–5 UAS or comparable systems
• Background in test and evaluation or operational units
• Familiarity with FAA Part 107 or military aviation frameworks
• Experience building or scaling training programs in a high-growth or product-driven environment
• Experience working closely with engineering teams on product or system development cycles

$140,000 - $210,000 a year

Salary compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location.
