✨ About The Role
- The Fluids Systems Technician will be responsible for building, installing, and troubleshooting fluid systems in support of the Starship production facility.
- The role requires the ability to read and interpret various technical documents, including schematics and engineering sketches.
- Responsibilities include connecting and verifying pressure transducers, thermocouples, and other sensors, as well as performing fluids and pneumatic testing.
- The technician will also fabricate and install fluid system components, such as ball valves and pressure regulators, from schematics or engineering drawings.
- The position involves troubleshooting operational issues during the activation of fluid and mechanical systems and completing necessary wiring for ground support equipment.

- The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent certificate, along with at least three years of experience using basic mechanical and/or electronics hand tools.
- Experience with pipe fitting and fabrication is essential, as the role involves building and installing fluid systems.
- A strong understanding of engineering drawings and schematics is necessary to effectively interpret planning documents and work instructions.
- Candidates with military aviation experience as a propulsion or airframe technician will have an advantage.
- Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic system fabrication, as well as experience using calibrated measuring instruments, is preferred.
