✨ About The Role
- The Integration Technician will provide daily support to the fairing team, working on both new production and flight-proven fairings.
- Responsibilities include hands-on operations with large and small assemblies, as well as the installation of spacecraft hardware.
- The role involves executing procedures for the checkout of SpaceX flight hardware and ground support equipment.
- Technicians will work on reusable rocket technology, developing methods for rapid processing and reuse of fairings.
- The position requires maintaining and installing fluid system components and providing support for various operational efforts, including Starlink satellite integration.
âš¡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of hands-on experience in assembly, test, maintenance, repair, and/or installation.
- A certificate from an accredited trade skills program is also acceptable, indicating a foundational knowledge in technical skills.
- Proficiency in using mechanical tools and the ability to interpret technical data will be crucial for success in this role.
- Experience working in clean room environments and familiarity with fluid and mechanical systems will be beneficial.
- Candidates with military aviation experience as a propulsion or airframe technician will have an advantage.
