✨ About The Role

- The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for the build and inspection process for the structural assembly and integration of the Falcon launch vehicle. - The role involves developing, qualifying, and refining manufacturing processes to meet design and business requirements. - Collaboration with other engineers, subject matter experts, and technicians is essential to solve large-scale production challenges. - The engineer will work closely with design engineers to evaluate designs for manufacturability in a rapidly evolving production environment. - The position requires resolving product non-conformances and collaborating with the quality team to implement corrective actions.

- A successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, aerospace, materials, or industrial engineering. - The ideal candidate should possess at least 1 year of engineering experience in manufacturing or production, including internships and school projects. - Experience with large mechanical assemblies and knowledge of metallic manufacturing techniques will be beneficial. - The candidate should be proficient in using 3D CAD software for mechanical component and tooling design and analysis. - Involvement in professional engineering societies or collegiate design projects is preferred.
