- The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing and analyzing mechanical systems for launch pads, recovery, and production tooling. - The role involves complete end-to-end project ownership, including coordinating the build, testing, and activation of hardware. - The engineer will work closely with launch operations teams to ensure that products meet form, function, and aesthetic expectations. - The position requires proficiency in basic structural sizing, mechanisms, and design, with a focus on cost and schedule considerations. - The engineer will present cost and schedule trade proposals to leadership as part of their responsibilities.

- A successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, preferably mechanical engineering. - The ideal candidate will possess at least 1 year of professional experience using design software such as NX, CATIA, Creo, or Solidworks. - Experience in designing, analyzing, or building mechanical structures is highly valued. - The candidate should demonstrate a proactive, self-starter attitude and the ability to lead projects from inception to completion. - Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with technicians, engineers, and managers in a team environment.
