- The mechanical engineer will take full ownership of primary and secondary structures, mechanisms, and fluid systems for Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy launch sites.
- Responsibilities include using hand calculations, finite element analyses (FEA), and computer-aided designs (CAD) to ensure hardware meets requirements.
- The role involves leading design reviews and hardware qualifications while serving as a technical interface with suppliers and customers.
- The engineer will manage the hardware delivery timeline and ensure success through all phases from inception to re-use.
