- The Paint Technician will be responsible for mixing, stripping, painting, and detailing advanced paint systems on Falcon 9 launch vehicles.
- The role involves preparing metallic substrates using mechanical abrasion and chemical etchants to ensure proper adhesion of paint.
- Technicians will mix and apply sealants and adhesives for structural components, requiring attention to detail and accuracy.
- Regular maintenance of various paint spraying equipment, such as gravity-fed and airless-type sprayers, will be part of the job responsibilities.
- The position requires the use of precision measuring tools, such as calipers and elcometers, to ensure quality control in the painting process.

- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience spraying advanced paint systems, demonstrating a solid foundation in the field.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with preference given to those who have completed a degree or certificate from an accredited trade school.
- Candidates should possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members and interpret technical documents.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment, particularly in the aerospace or aviation industry, is highly desirable.
- The successful individual will be comfortable working in physically demanding conditions, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 lbs unassisted.
