✨ About The Role
- The PCB Designer will be responsible for creating layouts for in-house board designs, collaborating closely with hardware development engineers.
- Responsibilities include determining layer stackup, component package selection, and routing feasibility studies for various types of PCBs.
- The role involves library creation and maintenance, as well as creating and releasing documentation for PCB fabrication.
- The designer will work with internal teams and PCB vendors to improve design rules and guidelines.
- Utilization of PCB design tools and training team members on these tools is also part of the job.
âš¡ Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience in PCB layout is essential for this role.
- Candidates should have at least 1+ years of professional experience with PCB layout or 3+ years in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with modern passive and active electronic components, including RF components and high pin density components, is preferred.
- Strong communication skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with hardware development engineers and internal teams.
- A demonstrated understanding of design for manufacturability, assembly, and test will be beneficial.
