✨ About The Role
- The role involves setting up and operating multi-axis CNC machines to manufacture micron level tolerance parts at production volumes.
- The machinist will be responsible for maintaining maximum machine uptime by troubleshooting off-nominal issues.
- Completing machining operations from blueprints, drawings, and/or verbal instructions is a key responsibility.
- The position requires working with complex, tight tolerance parts and various materials, including aluminum and copper.
- The job is on the 2nd shift, requiring availability for overtime and weekends as needed.
âš¡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with g-code, setup, operation, and/or programming of CNC mills/lathes is required.
- Experience with horizontal and vertical mill setup is preferred, with at least 5 years in each area.
- Candidates should have a strong understanding of micron level tolerance parts and how to handle and inspect them.
- The successful individual will be able to troubleshoot uncommon process issues independently.
