- The Recovery Technician will be responsible for staging, setting up, assembling, disassembling, testing, and installing flight hardware using precision calibrated tools.
- This role involves hands-on operations with both large and small, fragile assemblies, requiring attention to detail and safety.
- The technician will collaborate with recovery engineers to develop and document activities related to recovery services.
- Maintenance and repair of recovery vessels will be part of the job responsibilities, ensuring they are ready for refurbishment.
- The position requires the ability to work in extreme outdoor environments and may involve long hours and weekends to meet project timelines.
âš¡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of hands-on experience in hardware assembly, testing, maintenance, or installation.
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical systems is essential for success in this role.
- Candidates with maritime experience or an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license will be preferred.
- A strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics is necessary for this position.
- The successful individual will be comfortable working in high-paced, challenging environments and able to adapt to changing roles and responsibilities.
