- The Recovery Technician will be responsible for recovering flown hardware at sea and preparing it for refurbishment.
- This position involves operating small boats and watercraft in ocean conditions, ensuring recovery operations are performed safely and professionally.
- The technician will maintain recovery systems and work areas, including tasks such as replacing parts and cleaning.
- Collaboration with recovery engineers to document and improve operations is a key responsibility.
- The role requires the ability to work with toxic and flammable chemicals and to maintain safety protocols in hazardous environments.
- The technician must be willing to travel over 50% of the time for training and be able to pass various physical and background checks.

- The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of hands-on experience in hardware assembly, testing, maintenance, or installation.
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical systems is essential for success in this role.
- Candidates with maritime experience or an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license will be preferred.
- The successful individual will be comfortable working in hazardous environments and using various mechanical tools without supervision.
- A demonstrated ability to read and understand technical drawings, manuals, and reports is crucial.
- The role requires someone who can adapt quickly to changing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
