- The role involves developing, implementing, maintaining, and improving manufacturing processes and technologies for printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- The engineer will analyze production processes using a first principles, physics-based approach.
- Leading Design of Experiments (DOE) to establish stable and robust processes is a key responsibility.
- The position requires identifying and championing continuous improvement projects to enhance production yields.
- The engineer will develop project plans, budgets, and cost/benefit analyses for new processes or machines.
- Solving technical and emergent issues related to manufacturing, such as part quality and machine reliability, is essential.

- A bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline is required for this position.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or relevant design and analysis experience.
- Hands-on project experience with complex fluid or mechanical-based production systems is preferred.
- Experience in applying lean manufacturing principles will be beneficial for success in this role.
- The candidate should be willing to travel to other SpaceX sites and vendors, including international locations.
- The ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted and perform various physical tasks is necessary for this position.
