✨ About The Role
- As a Sr. Starlink Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for owning complex hardware from conceptual design through high volume production and on-orbit operation.
- The role involves developing design criteria, collaborating on requirements, and driving system-level optimization for the Starlink constellation.
- You will be expected to rapidly iterate on designs and analysis to inform high-level systems trades and steer overall product direction.
- The position requires driving holistic Design for Manufacturing (DFM) to create elegant designs with a focus on reducing piece part and process count.
- You will establish an efficient product lifecycle that balances cost, complexity, and quality, working closely with partner teams to design an efficient in-house production line.

- The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, with a strong foundation in mechanical or electromechanical design.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, analysis, testing, or manufacturing is essential for success in this role.
- Proficiency in CAD and FEA software packages is required, with a preference for experience in 3D CAD, particularly NX.
- The candidate should possess strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills, demonstrating the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
