- The Structures Technician will be responsible for modifying, repairing, assembling, and installing rocket and spacecraft components.
- The role requires the use of tooling holes and pilot holes as per drawings or tooling instructions.
- Technicians will align parts and secure them in place using Clecos or clamps to ensure proper alignment.
- The job involves drilling, reaming, and countersinking holes in parts and assemblies, following the correct sequence.
- Candidates will need to handle hazardous materials and apply sealants and adhesives as part of the assembly process.
⚡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in hardware assembly or related fields.
- Candidates with a certificate from an accredited trade skills program in A&P, manufacturing, or electronics will be preferred.
- Successful applicants will have experience using various hand tools and power tools, demonstrating proficiency in hardware assembly tasks.
- A strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints is essential for this role.
- Candidates should be capable of performing basic arithmetic calculations accurately to ensure precision in assembly tasks.
