✨ About The Role
- The Structures Technician will be responsible for modifying, repairing, assembling, and installing rocket and spacecraft components and subcomponents.
- The role requires the use of tooling holes and pilot holes, aligning parts, and securing them in place using clecos or clamps.
- Technicians will install fasteners in the correct sequence per drawings and use tools such as rivet guns, drill motors, and power screwdrivers.
- The job involves shimming and trimming parts as required, as well as selecting and using the appropriate drill bits and countersinking tools.
- Candidates must be able to work at elevated heights and in confined spaces, and will be exposed to fumes, odors, and noise in the work environment.

- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of hands-on experience in assembly, test, maintenance, repair, and/or installation.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a certificate from an accredited trade skills program being preferred.
- Experience with drilling, reaming, honing, and countersinking straight and close tolerance holes is highly valued.
- Candidates should be capable of visualizing three-dimensional shapes from two-dimensional views and understanding engineering symbols and notes.
- Proficiency in using various hand tools, hand-held power tools, and precision measuring tools is essential for success in this role.
