- The Telecommunications Technician will be responsible for installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting various types of cabling and telecommunications equipment.
- This role involves building out telecommunication and equipment rooms and performing continuity checks to locate and correct wiring errors.
- The technician will collaborate with team members to diagnose and document system malfunctions and failures.
- The position requires reading and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering sketches to ensure proper installation and maintenance.
- The technician will also be involved in supporting critical launch and landing activities for SpaceX's launch vehicles and spacecraft.

- The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate and at least 2 years of relevant experience in telecommunications.
- A strong background in installing, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing fiber optics, copper cabling, and audio/video systems is essential.
- Candidates should possess the ability to work collaboratively with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in telecommunications is highly desirable.
- The successful individual will demonstrate manual dexterity and the ability to work in elevated heights or tight spaces.
