- The Test Operations Technician will be responsible for preparing test articles, test stands, and systems for test operations.
- This role involves performing post-test operations and inspections to ensure the flight worthiness of vehicles.
- Technicians will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and instrumentation as needed.
- Collaboration with engineers to develop and document activities is a key responsibility.
- The position requires operating and maintaining high pressure systems, pumps, and other ancillary equipment.
- Candidates will need to monitor and maintain inventory of cryogenic and pneumatic equipment necessary for test operations.
- The job may require working in extreme outdoor environments and at elevated heights with proper PPE.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends based on site priorities is expected.

- The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate and at least 3 years of experience working with mechanical systems or heavy equipment.
- Experience with troubleshooting high pressure fluid and pneumatic systems is essential for success in this role.
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and calibrated tooling is required.
- Candidates with an associate degree in an engineering, technical, or mechanical field will be preferred.
- A demonstrated ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics is crucial for this position.
- Strong communication skills are necessary for effectively relaying data between team members and customers.
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing roles in a fast-paced setting is important.
- Physical dexterity and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25lbs unassisted) are required for this job.
