✨ About The Role

- The Vessel Crew position involves supporting space hardware recovery operations aboard Recovery vessels. - Responsibilities include performing topside duties at sea and in-port, ensuring vessel cleanliness, and assisting with crane operations. - The role requires performing daily and weekly vessel operations while offshore and in-port, as well as assisting recovery missions with SpaceX engineers and technicians. - Candidates will work closely with team leadership and vessel mates to ensure mission readiness and success. - The position typically requires a 50-hour work week, which may vary based on operational needs.

âš¡ Requirements

- The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate and a Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) as an Able Bodied Seaman or higher. - Candidates should possess a valid USCG Medical Certification and be willing to work outdoors in maritime environments. - Experience in vessel navigation and compliance with USCG standards is preferred, along with a background in medical or fire-protection roles. - A successful candidate will have at least 3 years of professional experience related to USCG and ABS regulations. - Flexibility in working hours and the ability to travel to other SpaceX locations as needed are essential for this role.
