- The Test Technician will be responsible for precision assembly of test systems for aerospace hardware.
- Executing work orders for component and assembly tests, along with documenting test steps, is a key responsibility.
- The role involves operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting various fluid, mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Candidates will work with vibration tables, thermal chambers, and thermal vacuum chambers.
- Identification of discrepancies and authoring nonconformance reports will be part of the job.
- Training personnel on the required processes and operations of complex test systems is expected.
- Ensuring safety during testing and improving efficiency to increase hardware throughput are critical tasks.
⚡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience working with mechanical, fluid, or electrical systems.
- A minimum of 2 years in a test-focused role is essential for success in this position.
- Candidates should possess a detailed understanding of fittings, threads, inserts, seals, and other sub-component parts.
- Experience with Oxygen, Cryogenic, and FOD intolerant service components and systems is highly desirable.
- A positive and humble attitude, along with a passion for high-quality work, will contribute to team success.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration.
- The ability to work second shift and weekends as needed is important for this role.
