This is your chance to build the design foundation for the next generation of commerce applications. We're looking for a visionary design leader who can take ownership of our entire design practice while driving rapid execution across multiple customer-facing products serving both B2B brands and their end consumers. You'll build industry-leading user experiences that directly drive user engagement, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do:
Transform Design Practice & Standards:
- Establish consistent design methodology and systems across multiple products in our growing platform
- Build and maintain design systems that ensure cohesive user experiences across all customer touchpoints
- Create design standards and workflows that enable rapid iteration without sacrificing quality
- Implement user research practices to drive data-informed design decisions rather than assumptions
Lead Cross-Product User Experience:
- Design seamless experiences across our suite of customer-facing applications and internal platforms
- Create intuitive B2B interfaces for business users while ensuring exceptional B2C experiences for end consumers
- Drive conversion optimization and user engagement across the entire customer journey
- Ensure accessibility and responsive design across all touchpoints
Pioneer AI-Accelerated Design:
- Implement AI tools for rapid prototyping and design iteration to dramatically increase design velocity
- Create workflows that leverage AI for quick ideation, component generation, and design validation
- Establish best practices for AI-assisted design that maintain quality while accelerating delivery
- Train and coach team on AI tool adoption and integration into design workflows
Build and Scale Design Team:
- Recruit, develop, and manage a growing team of product designers with clear specializations
- Create career progression frameworks and skill development programs for design team growth
- Establish design review processes and quality standards across all product teams
- Foster collaborative relationships with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders
Drive Measurable Business Impact:
- Partner with product teams to optimize user engagement, conversion rates, and feature adoption
- Establish design metrics and success criteria tied to business outcomes
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and identify opportunities
- Translate user insights into actionable design improvements that drive customer satisfaction and platform growth
What You'll Need:
Track Record of Design Leadership Excellence:
- 8+ years of product design experience with at least 3 years leading design teams or functions
- Multi-product design expertise - Experience designing across complex product ecosystems or suites
- B2B and B2C design fluency - Deep understanding of designing for both business users and end consumers
- Design systems mastery - Proven ability to build and scale design systems across multiple products
- Team development success - Track record of hiring, developing, and scaling high-performing design teams
The Technical Skills We Need:
- Modern design tool expertise - Advanced proficiency in Figma, with experience in component libraries and design systems
- AI-powered design tools - Familiarity with or willingness to rapidly adopt AI design tools for accelerated workflows
- User research capabilities - Experience conducting user interviews, usability testing, and data analysis
- Cross-functional collaboration - Proven ability to work closely with product managers and engineering teams
- Responsive and accessible design - Deep understanding of designing for multiple devices and accessibility standards
