About the Role Stord is The Consumer Experience Company, helping today's leading brands deliver seamless experiences from the moment an order is placed through to the customer's door. As the Senior Product Manager for ERP Lite, you will own one of Stord's most strategically important product tracks - building the native financial visibility and operational depth that brands currently seek from standalone ERP-lite platforms. You will lead a dedicated engineering team, working against a well-defined competitive gap and a roadmap that is already in motion - giving brands the full picture of their unit economics without leaving the platform.
What You'll Do
- Own the ERP Lite roadmap within Stord's OMS - taking a set of capabilities already in motion and continuing to extend the roadmap over time, with the goal of making Stord the operating system brands run their business on, not just their orders.
- Lead a dedicated engineering team through sprint planning, backlog management, and day-to-day delivery - setting the pace, removing blockers, and ensuring the team always has the context they need to ship without waiting on you.
- Get close to the brands using Stord's OMS and the finance and operations leaders inside them - understanding how they actually manage costs, reconcile month-end, and make inventory decisions today, and translating that into product requirements that replace their spreadsheets and point solutions.
- Track the ERP-lite competitive landscape closely enough to know where Stord needs to lead, where parity is sufficient, and where a competitor's roadmap should change yours.
- Partner with Stord's AI, Logistics, and Commerce product teams to ensure ERP Lite capabilities are integrated into the broader platform rather than bolted on, particularly where cost and operational data flows across product surfaces.
- Communicate roadmap progress, tradeoffs, and risks to leadership clearly and proactively - you are the authoritative voice on this track and are expected to surface problems before they become surprises.
What You'll Bring
- You have either built ERP or financial operations software for D2C or e-commerce brands and understand how they manage cost, inventory, and margin at scale - or you have operated a D2C brand yourself in a finance, operations, or GM role and know firsthand what good looks like and where the tools fall short. One path or the other; both are equally valued.
- 5+ years of product management experience with a track record of owning and shipping complex, multi-capability product areas.
- Experience working closely with engineering teams: writing detailed requirements, running sprint ceremonies, and maintaining a healthy product backlog.
- You can write basic SQL to answer your own data questions without waiting on an analyst, and you're comfortable in tools like Jira to manage delivery day to day.
- You drive a roadmap independently, make calls in ambiguity, and own outcomes rather than activities - you are fully accountable for what this track ships and what it doesn't.
- Strong communication skills: you can translate complex product tradeoffs into clear strategic narratives for customers, cross-functional partners, and senior leadership.
