✨ About The Role

- Responsible for driving new sales with Stord Freight, LLC, specializing in Dry Van, LTL, and Dray for Enterprise shippers through SMBs - Engage with new shippers to drive maximum shipment growth, margin, and revenue - Own customer relationships, source, engage, qualify, and educate prospective shippers through various sales prospecting efforts - Serve as a consultative resource to customers regarding service offerings, market trends, and industry standards - Collaborate on cross-functional projects with members of the Transportation, Fulfillment, & Stord Partner Network sales teams

⚡ Requirements

- Minimum of five years' experience in Freight Sales in a Medium-to-Large sized Freight Brokerage, with a track record of landing a book of business of at least $10 million annually - Strong ability to articulate Stord’s story and map it to customer needs in any freight market condition - Resourcefulness in finding ways to bring in new business and accelerate customer decisions and sales cycles proactively - Ability to understand and articulate freight characteristics and be a customer partner - Strong negotiation skills, persuasiveness, aggressiveness, and confidence
