Event Marketing Specialist

Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Event Marketing Specialist with 1–3 years of experience in planning and executing corporate events to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate with passionate colleagues to design and deliver impactful experiences that resonate with stakeholders and advance Strider’s mission to protect the ideals and innovations of the free world.

As a key player in Strider’s marketing team, you will bring events to life by overseeing all aspects of planning, from concept to execution. Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning & Coordination:

• Assist in the planning and execution of in person events, including high-profile meetings, dinners, and networking events.
• Collaborate with team members to develop event concepts, themes, and execute on tight timelines.

Vendor Management:

• Research and negotiate with vendors, venues, and suppliers to secure necessary services and materials.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and ensure compliance with agreements.

Logistics & Operations:

• Coordinate logistics, including audiovisual needs, transportation, food/beverage, and accommodations.
• Work with team members to plan and execute events, ensuring all aspects run smoothly.

Budget Management:

• Assist in creating and managing event budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in event planning or coordination (preferably in the B2B technology sector).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software (e.g., Cvent).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.
• Audio visual experience is a plus.
