Manufacturing Technician

Teledyne Microwave Solutions is looking for a Manufacturing Technician for Day shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Have experience in chem-film (alodyne) process on metal surfaces
  • Have experience with conformal coating on PCB, solvent tests.
  • Analyzes indicated and calculated test results in relation to process
  • Able to work with chemicals and cleaning agents.
  • Able to work with microscope, variable handheld tools, fixtures.
  • Able to read and review work instructions and drawings to ascertain test specifications, procedures, nature of technical problem, substitution of material or parts
  • Sets up and conducts tests of complete units and components under operational, environmental and life conditions to evaluate performance and reliability of prototype or production model
  • Records test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or procedures.

Education and/or Experience: Vocational or Technical Certificate in related field and at a minimum of 5-10 years of directly related experience, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Basic Knowledge of ISO and/or AS9100
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing/6 Sigma/Kaizen
  • Knowledge of specific software (design, analysis, ERP…)
  • Knowledge to utilize manufacturing test, development or diagnostic equipment such as but not limited to oscilloscopes, voltmeters, spectrum analyzers.
  • US Citizenship with ability to attain/maintain government security clearance.

Salary Range: $42,800.00-$57,100.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
