Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Mark parts per dra wings and customer requirements via laser, chemical-etch, stamp, engrave, ink and other methods.
  • Prepare and maintain necessary documentation, logs and records.
  • Review work for appropriate quality and quantity.
  • Follow safety policies.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • 1-2 years manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with marking methods as listed above.
  • Able to read and understand drawings/specifications and work instructions.
  • Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as operational and safety policies.
  • Ability to use basic high school math skills.
  • Computer Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications such as Teams and Outlook.

Physical Demands:

  • Able to lift 50lbs. rarely, 20-30lbs. occasionally.
  • Able to stand or sit for long periods.
  • Good hand/eye coordination.

Work Environment:

  • Factory environment.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Safety glasses.
  • Safety toe shoes or protective shoe covers.

Training Requirements:

  • Teledyne product-specific training.
  • ERP and Time clock system Overview.
  • Teledyne Ethics and Harassment training.
  • Hazardous Communications.

Employee will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
