✨ About The Role
- The Production Manager will oversee day-to-day operations for electro-mechanical assemblies, cable harness fabrications, and Final Integration and Test areas.
- This role involves managing the production schedule and ensuring on-time delivery of quality products by interfacing with Program Management, Production Engineering, Supply Chain, and Planning & Quality.
- The Production Manager will supervise a team of 4-5 direct reports and approximately 13-14 indirect reports, requiring strong leadership and team management skills.
- Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, and executing production activities, as well as developing production programs to support company objectives.
- The role requires identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance production quality and capacity, as well as organizing job training for team members.
- The Production Manager will also investigate production issues, develop resolutions, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
âš¡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have 8-10+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with a strong preference for those with experience in electro-mechanical integration and systems integration.
- A proven track record of leadership in a manufacturing setting is essential, with at least 5 years in a management or people leadership role.
- Candidates should possess Lean and/or Six Sigma certification, demonstrating a commitment to process improvement and quality enhancement.
- Strong computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite, is required to effectively manage production schedules and reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to collaborate with various departments and external suppliers.
- The successful candidate will be able to travel approximately 10% of the time for localization initiatives, indicating flexibility and a willingness to engage with global teams.
