- The Production Technician will be responsible for assembling electrical and fiber optic jumper and cable assemblies using various mechanical and hand tools. - Essential duties include measuring, cutting, and preparing rubber hose, cable, and wire for termination. - The role requires pulling wire through hose ID and attached hardware prior to soldering, as well as terminating hose and cable assemblies per procedure. - The technician will need to stretch jumper assemblies utilizing a forklift and load meter, while accurately reporting labor hours for each order. - Maintaining high-quality standards and workmanship is a key responsibility, along with completing documentation accurately and timely.

- The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for those holding a two-year technical degree. - Recent experience in a mechanical, electrical, or production trade is essential for success in this role. - Candidates should have a background in a manufacturing environment, demonstrating familiarity with assembly processes. - The ability to work safely with minimal supervision is crucial, as is the capacity to troubleshoot issues independently. - Strong communication skills are necessary to maintain effective relationships with various departments within the company.
