Job Description

FLIR Unmanned Aerial Systems, a subsidiary of Teledyne FLIR, located in the greater Montreal area, is looking for dynamic and motivated candidates to fill an important position in its manufacturing team. This ISO 9001 FLIR facility designs, builds, and services advanced surveillance radar systems that are sold worldwide. Our radar systems are amongst the best performers and most reliable in the industry.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Overall day to day coordination and support with the responsibilities in specific areas listed below:

  • Inspect Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs)
  • Conduct Acceptance Testing on PCBs
  • Repair complex PCB with schematic
  • Electrical and mechanical assembly
  • Perform test on radar (ATP/ATR)
  • Perform test in thermal chamber
  • Participate in lean manufacturing implementation (5S and other projects)
  • Other duties as required

Requirements

  • College diploma, DEP in Electronics or experience in electronic assembly
  • 1 year of experience in an electronic manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Experience in a small business environment is an asset
  • Working knowledge of MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

A cet emplacement certifié ISO 9001, FLIR conçoit, construit et entretient des systèmes radar de surveillance de pointe qui sont vendus dans le monde entier. Nos systèmes radar sont parmi les plus performants et les plus fiables de l'industrie.

Coordination et soutien au jour le jour avec des responsabilités dans les domaines spécifiques énumérés ci-dessous:

  • Inspecter les circuits imprimés (radar)
  • Effectuer les tests d'acceptation et effectuer les réparations sur les PCB
  • Réparer les PCB en utilisant les schémas électriques
  • Effectuer de l'assemblage mécanique et électrique
  • Maintenir la documentation à jour
  • Participer à l'amélioration continue (5S et autres projets)
  • Effectuer les (ATP/ATR) requis sur le produit/PCB
  • Effectuer la calibration des radars
  • Suivi de la calibration des équipements
  • Toute autre tâche au besoin

Diplôme d'Études Collégiales en Électronique ou expérience en assemblage électronique

1 année d'expérience dans un environnement de fabrication électronique

Être multi-tâches et désir de s'impliquer dans l'entreprise

Expérience en petite entreprise est un atout

Être bilingue français et anglais, écrit et oral est un atout

Connaissance pratique de la suite MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

This position requires access to export-controlled information or items (i.e. regulated technology or technical data per ITAR/EAR US regulations). Applicants must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
